Custom Watercolor Commissions 

Every portrait begins with your favorite photo and is hand-painted in watercolor. If you'd like, I can combine multiple reference photos into one custom composition.

Looking for a painting that tells your story? I enjoy creating custom watercolor paintings of beloved pets, family farms, cabins, wildlife, and meaningful places.

Don't worry if you don't have the perfect photograph. Many of my commission pieces are created by combining several reference photos into a single painting. Whether it's placing a favorite truck back on the family farm, painting a childhood home as you remember it, or bringing together pets that were never photographed together, I enjoy creating artwork that preserves special memories.

Each commission is created in close collaboration with you, and I'll work with your photos and ideas to design a painting that's uniquely yours.

Single-pet 8x10 watercolor portraits start at $150. Need a different size or multiple pets? Contact me for a quote.

The Commission Process

• Share your photos and ideas.

• I'll create a composition sketch for your approval.

• After you approve the sketch, a 25% deposit reserves your commission and I begin painting.

• I'll send a progress photo about halfway through so you have an opportunity to request small adjustments before the painting is finished.

• The remaining balance is due when your painting is complete.

Some commissions are created from multiple reference photos to preserve memories that were never captured in a single photograph.
